Introduction

Groups

The ViconIQ software is essentially grouped into 3 sections:

  • Environment Setup: This is essentially the file management, room, and camera setup and has little to do with the actual markers; under this section are Data Management, Setup, Calibration


  • Data Capture: Here we are in effect ignoring the actual subject and only recording the data from the markers; under this section is Capture


  • Subject Processing: The final grouping are the elements relevant to the subject; under this section are Modelling and Post-Processing

It is important to remember these groupings as they indicate what you should expect at each stage and what data you will end up with.

Guide Layout

In this guide, you will find two different sections:

  • Step-by-Step: which essentially deals provides you with minimal instructions to complete a capture; if all goes well this should be sufficient to do a straight forward capture
  • Tabs: this provides detailed information about each section, tweaks, discussions, etc and can help with trouble shooting.
